Welcome To The Auction!

Basset Rescue of Florida, Inc.  is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes bassets in need from the South Florida area.  All net proceeds will go towards the care and support of the bassets in the rescue and to continue the work of the rescue.

We want to thank a few people who have helped with this auction.  First Suncoast Basset Rescue for sharing a gift of basset items with us.  Jennifer Douillette of SBR for delivering those items to us and spending some time giving belly rubs!  Thanks to Yvonne Morgan  of BRF for taking all of these pictures and posting them on this site and for doing online research about the items.  Thanks to Kathy Nali for reviewing all of the prices and descriptions for us and to Cindy Miller of Rapscallion Bassets for giving us ideas on how to better convey the unique charm of each item.  It takes a village and we are fortunate to have a great village.

Please keep in mind that most of these items are vintage if not antique and will have evidence of their age.  We attempt to point out any breaks (either repaired or not) and want each of you to enjoy the items you win.  If something is new or like new in condition,  we've pointed that out as well but otherwise,  do expect some character in each item.

Thanks for supporting the work of our rescue!
