This precious little baby is pushing a basset baby carriage!  This composite little figure is 2" long x 2" tall and has a sticker on the bottom reading:  Style#8100, Ceramic World, Brooklyn, NY, China.

This whimsical basset baskeball player is marked Midwest of Cannon Falls, Made in China.  He has a sports related injury to left arm in need of repair but don't let that stop you - it looks as if it can be well repaired to give you years of enjoyment.  Approximately 6" tall.

This lovely hand painted cold cast bronze is by noted animal artist Marsha Richardson. It was produced in 1979 by Aus-Ben Studio which is no longer in business. The figurine is in excellent condition for its age, and still has it's original sticker label on the bottom, which states that it was crafted and handpainted in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Incised into the bronze on the back is copyright 1979 M Richardson, Aus Ben Mfg Boone NC. The figurine is 1 1/2" high, the base is 3 5/8" long X 1 3/4" wide at widest point.

This size Large 100% cotton t-shirt has some light stains on the neckline.  It could still be worn but the best use might be the absolutely stunning embroidered piece on the front.  It would make an amazing framed piece to hang on your wall or to use as a centerpiece on a quilted piece.  You could even use it on the back of a jacket!  The embroidered section measures about 12" wide and 8" tall but you have plenty of white space aorund it to make it the size you need.

This composite basset has an extra dose of ankle wrinkles AKA wrankles.  Measuring 4" x 3 1/2" he has a minor chip on end of tail and at the tip of one ear.  Easily touched up with a marker for years of enjoyment!

This substantial vintage ceramic music box has a sad sack tri-color basset on top of a base that declares "Feelings"  9" long x 6" tall - the wind up music box is not currently working but may be simply over-tighted and a knowledgeable person may be able to get it into working order.  Very cute piece even without the music.

Russ Berrie offers from Kathleen Kelly’s Critter Factory, bean bag fun.  Here we have Homer.  Item #2613.   Our hound dog is ready to work.  He has felt tools tucked into his felt belt.   He has overalls and a matching cap with a tucked pencil.  There is a red bandana around his neck over his checked shirt.  All that is just dressing to the face.  The wrinkles around the sagging eyes and the huge nose balance the long marvelous ears!!  Just wonderful!!!  Zoom in on the face, and you will have to have this in your collection.   Great attention to detail.    From the Country Folks Series.     With tag.  Resin heads, hands and feet with soft filled bean bodies.  About 5 1/2" tall.

This charming set of 3 wooden painted basset cut outs each depict two bassets snuggling - maybe mom and pup?  These are signed Edwin on the back and do not have hanging holes so would look great sitting on a shelf.  They are of graduating sizes - the largest is 18"x9", the middle is 12"x6" and the smallest is 8"x4" - all sizes approximate.  These have some wear marks on the paint in places so you may want to touch up unless you want to use them as they are - gently loved!

Hound Dog "Hank" sings Lookin' for love in all the wrong places!  This singing plush basset does work and his tail wags too.  Made for K-Mart 2003 Valentine Edition.  9" long x 6" tall.  Original box with bandana.  We also threw in a cute Applause plush that no longer plays.

This ceramic statue defies description!  This basset biermeister is hoisting a tankard of beer.  Skoal! is embossed across the front.  4 openings in the back, metallic sticker on the bottom Enesco, Made in Taiwan, Republic of China. This stunningly different pup is made of leather and fur.  Although not marked,  it is very much in the style of the antique Steif animals.  The colors are beige leather body, black leather nose and beige with hints of brown and black fur ears and curled tail.  The eyes are glued on.  17" long x 8" tall.

This 4" square ceramic tile is decorated with dog bones and butterflies.  It is meant to be a tealight holder and has feet on the bottom to elevate off table surface.  Marked Puppy Palace and has a Blue Sky Ontaria California sticker on the bottom.  Lovely green color.  Some glase crazing.

This stunning and perhaps one of a kind vintage art deco brass statue from India is a mom and her two pups cuddling up to her for some extra loving.  If you like basset crap that is really different - don't let this pass you by!  5" long x 3" tall.  Substantial weight! They look wonderful just as they are but would really pop if mounted on a marble plinth.

This lovely vintage chalkware basset has a great amount of charm and character.  Although this is a tiny sliver of the botton of one ear missing,  it falls within the folds of the ear and is not terribly noticeable.  His snooter profile makes up for any flaws.  Approximately 3" long x 3 1/2" tall
